On August 31, All Elite Wrestling will host its All Out pay-per-view event, which is set to be the biggest event in the company's history to date. It's at All Out where "Hangman" Adam Page will battle Chris Jericho to determine the first-ever AEW World Champion, and it's there where Kenny Omega will battle Pac, who is finally making his AEW debut. With All Out taking place in Chicago, Illinois and much of the marketing mirror CM Punk's logos and attire, there have been rumors that the "Best in the World" will finally return to pro wrestling at the show.

CM Punk is participating in the Starrcast event for AEW, and he even recorded his first "in-ring promo" in years to promote it. However, the former WWE Champion has made no indication that he has any plans to ever return to professional wrestling. Additionally, there have been denials from both parties that CM Punk is signing a contract with the company, but of course, that doesn't mean he still couldn't be involved in some capacity.

A CM Punk appearance at All Out is far from confirmed, but there is one way we could see it happening. As one looks over the All Out card, they may notice that one of the company's top heels, MJF, is nowhere to be seen. Perhaps MJF will issue an open challenge or maybe he will insult the crowd with a promo, which will draw Punk out from the back. It may not be a full-fledged comeback like some may hope for, but perhaps fans will at least get to see CM Punk hit MJF with the Go To Sleep.

But before fans get their hopes up, the more likely scenario is that Punk will stay out of pro wrestling. He left the WWE on bitter terms, and since then has turned his attention to other projects, like a career in mixed-martial arts. Even so, it's hard not to get excited at the idea of Punk returning to wrestling. He would be the biggest talent signing possible for AEW, and would take the company to new heights. We may even see that AEW video game materialize if someone as high profile as Punk joined the roster.

We don't know if CM Punk will be at All Out, so fans will just have to tune in to the pay-per-view.
