With the Thor: Love and Thunder release date rapidly approaching, the film's stars have managed to build more and more hype around the movie's upcoming release. Now, Christian Bale has shared some insight into scenes that didn't make the final cut.

Thor: Love and Thunder is Chris Hemsworth's fourth solo adventure as the character, which is set to reunite Thor and past love Jane Foster (played by Natalie Portman) as she now wields the iconic hammer as The Mighty Thor. The movie also marks the introduction of Bale's Gorr the God Butcher, who is set to be the film's bad guy and sets out to murder all the gods.

In a recent interview with Prensaescenario, Bale gave his perspective working with the film's cast as a Marvel Cinematic Universe newcomer. The actor praised the performances of Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, and Portman. After applauding other members of the cast, Bale went on to reveal that while shooting Thor: Love and Thunder, he got to work with some actors who didn’t make the film's final cut. He told Prensaescenario, "I got to work with Peter Dinklage. That's not in the final film, but I got to work with him. He's fantastic. I got to work with Jeff Goldblum. He's not in the final film either. As you see, a lot of stuff ends up on the cutting room floor even though it is beautiful, brilliant stuff."

Christian Bale As Gorr The God Butcher

Both Dinklage and Goldblum have both appeared in Marvel Cinematic Universe films with Thor in the past. Dinklage played Eitri in Avengers: Infinity War, helping Thor craft his new weapon Stormbreaker. Meanwhile, Goldblum was a part of the cast of Thor: Ragnarok as the Grandmaster, with a memorable scene at the arena on Sakaar where Thor battled the Hulk (played by Mark Ruffalo). Both the actors were rumored to have appearances in Thor: Love and Thunder, but sadly they won’t appear in the film's theatrical debut.

However, there is a chance they might make an appearance on the Blu-ray deleted scenes. With the upcoming release of the extended Spider-Man: No Way Home, there are chances that a longer version of Thor: Love and Thunder could be released in the future.

Thor: Love and Thunder will hit theaters on July 8th, 2022.
