The video depicts behind-the-scenes clips of the filming of the first installment in the Thor franchise, with voiceovers of a collection of people who’ve played a part in the success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes' journey. The first to speak is producer Kevin Feige, who shares that it was an early decision to bring Thor to life in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and that the studio set out to find an exceptional actor to portray the part. Feige goes on to say, “We looked the world over, and we found Chris Hemsworth.” The featurette goes on to show Hemsworth's Thor audition clip as co-stars Natalie Portman and Tessa Thompson applaud his dedication to his craft and the Marvel Cinematic Universe character.

The video shifts to director Taika Waititi, who helmed Thor: Ragnarok, which played a major part in the shift of the legacy of the character. Waititi discusses this as he touches on how he directed Hemsworth to dig within himself to make the Thor character more of his own, so audiences could find the character more relatable and easier to laugh at. As the featurette closes, Hemsworth gives a humble ode to the character he has portrayed for the past ten years, saying that every time he’s played the character has been more fun than the last, and stating that Thor's newest adventure Thor: Love and Thunder is "mind-blowing."

With Thor: Love and Thunder set to make its theatrical debut next week, the legacy of Hemsworth's character will live on, as the Asgardian hero and his pals face their deadliest foe yet, Gorr the God Butcher, played by Marvel Cinematic Universe newcomer Christian Bale.

Thor: Love and Thunder will be released in theaters on July 8, 2022.
