Eternals is now available on Disney Plus, but director Chloé Zhao has revealed that plenty more bonus content on the Marvel Studios film is headed to the streaming platform soon.

Based on Jack Kirby's Marvel comics, Eternals centers on an immortal alien race that was created by the Celestials and has been living secretly on Earth for thousands of years. They finally have to reunite to stop their evil counterparts known as the Deviants.

Zhao took to Instagram, posting a drawing of the Eternals group and leaving a message letting fans know when more Eternals bonus features are coming. “Commentary, Assembled and other bonus features will be [available] on D+ in March. So much has been said about our film and now I’m so excited for y’all to have your own experience with it," wrote Zhao. The acclaimed director also sent love to the "fans, audiences, exhibitors, theater workers, critics" and those who worked on Eternals.

With the amount of behind-the-scenes features making its way to Disney Plus, it'll be interesting to see the entire process behind creating the film, as Eternals has caused a divide among fans and has now become one of the most, if not THE most, divisive MCU film. Currently, Eternals has the lowest score out of any Marvel film on Rotten Tomatoes with a 47% score. Much of the criticisms point towards the inconsistent storytelling and troubles balancing the wide array of characters in its 2 hours and 37-minute runtime, as many fans believe that the film would've been better suited as a television series to allow for greater character exploration.

It was not too long ago that Zhao shared she originally had a much bleaker ending for Eternals in mind, but eventually changed it to set up future Marvel Studios stories and crossovers. As much as fans are divided over the film, one thing is very apparent and that is Zhao adding her unique, ambitious filmmaking style to create an MCU film that is both visually stunning and challenging, as it offers a deeper exploration of the familial and interpersonal relationships between its heroes.

Eternals stars Gemma Chan as Sersi, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Angelina Jolie as Thena, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Barry Keoghan as Druig, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Kit Harington as Dane Whitman, and Harish Patel as Karun. Zhao co-wrote the script with Kaz Firpo and Matthew K. Firpo. While not yet confirmed, it is likely that Marvel Studios' president Kevin Feige and the rest of the team are developing an Eternals sequel that will likely tie into future MCU stories.
