Charlie Cox's Daredevil is rumored to be appearing in multiple upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) projects before inevitably getting his own solo television series. The character will be reintroduced into the storyline in order to bridge the gap between the Netflix TV world and the MCU movie world.

Cox's Daredevil is a fan favorite and many people were happy to see that the character was brought back in Spider-Man: No Way Home. After having a successful three season run on Netflix, the character's solo show was unfrotunately canceled partly because Marvel was preparing to create its own content on the Disney Plus streaming platform. Fans were distraught, as the third season left the door open for so many possibilities and had one of the best arcs in the show's short run.

The rumor of Daredevil's future comes from Murphy's Multiverse, which reports that fans should "expect to see [Daredevil] everywhere." The site named She-Hulk, Moon Knight, Ironheart, and Echo as projects Daredevil can appear in before moving on to get his own television show. The site also reveals fans should expect to see Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk "facing off in a court case involving a superhero tailor," and another rumor suggests that Daredevil will be donning his iconic yellow comic book costume.

With Marvel Studios now acknowledging the small screen heroes as canon, many are happy to learn that the Netflix binging wasn't in vain. Now fans are curious to see what will happen to Iron Fist, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones. Recently, it was reported that Jessica Henwick turned down a role in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings in hopes of being able to bring back her character Colleen Wing, who debuted in the Iron Fist Netflix series.

Marvel Studios has done a better job of connecting its shows to the MCU films than the Netflix series did. Marvel Studios' What If...? has become canon, introducing new versions of classic MCU heroes from the multiverse. Hawkeye's big reveal occured just days before Daredevil appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home, meaning fans got to see two major Netflix characters return roughly around the same time.

If these Daredevil rumors are true, then fans shouldn't have to wait too long before seeing everyone's favorite vigilante without fear. The character is such a pivotal hero in the comic book storylines, so seeing him appear in the upcoming MCU projects is an ideal scenario. Fans really want to see Spider-Man and Daredevil team up, and even though Natasha Romanoff is dead, some still want to see Daredevil interact with Black Widow due to them being a romantically involved in the comic books.

Daredevil is currently streaming on Netflix.
