For multiple years, fans have been holding on for the latest updates on the Bob's Burgers movie. This beloved adult animation series has gathered a global fanbase with its lovable characters and sentimental themes.

Last month, it was revealed that the highly-anticipated movie was finally back on track for an upcoming release after being delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Bob's Burgers movie is scheduled to premiere on May 27, 2022. While a lot has been kept under wraps for the movie, it has been revealed that it will be a musical comedy and the original voice actors will be reprising their roles. A theatrical premiere is planned for the movie but because of its Disney affiliation, many are hoping that it will also stream on Disney+.

Given that its showrunner is the creator of the animated series, Loren Bouchard, there are endless possibilities for fun cameos from the reoccurring cast of the series. Bob's Burgers pays a keen interest to the Belcher family, which is consisted of parents Linda and Bob Belcher, and their three children; Tina, Gene, and Louise. However, the show also has a large ensemble cast full of regular and reoccurring characters. Here are four characters, some old and some new, that GameRant is dying to see in this upcoming flick.

Zeke

Zeke from Bobs Burgers

Zeke has been a recurring character in Bob's Burgers since Season 2, however, not much about his background is known. He is characterized as a bad boy and is linked to the Belcher children through his best friend Jimmy Pesto, who is also Tina Belcher's crush. It is known that Zeke lives a tough life, he commonly has outbursts and it has been stated that his parents are divorced.

Despite his troubled background and unpredictable behavior, he fits right in with the young Belcher trio and their extended social groups. He has had some epic episodes where he alludes to his cute crush on Tina and his interest in cooking, much to Bob's excitement. It would be great to have a more thorough look into his backstory, or just see him get shot down by Tina a few more times.

Nat Kinkle

Nat Kinkle from Bobs Burgers

Next is fearless limo driver Nat Kinkle. Despite having only popped up a few times, she is a fan favorite. This uncensored driver first made an appearance in a Season 8 Valentine's Day episode where Tina enlists her help to sabotage her crush's date. Nat is later seen in two Season 10 episodes.

Nat is totally cool as she is outgoing and rebellious, always scheming up creative adventures. She has many ties to the community, as fans saw in the episode where she assisted Bob with finding Linda's engagement ring after the kids lost it at a water park. It'd be awesome to see her make a quick cameo in the movie.

Aunt Gayle

Gayle from Bobs Burgers

Sweet Aunt Gayle is a total mess — and viewers love her for it. She's Linda's sister and aunt to the Belcher kids. Voice by comedy actor Megan Mullally, Gayle's nasally voice and cat-person persona is always a stand-out in the episodes she's featured in. While nobody ever needs too much of her, it would be nice to see her make a brief appearance in the Bob's Burgers movie.

Perhaps a quick-witted phone call and split-screen sequence will do. Her distinctive personality will be greatly missed if execs opt to leave her out of the movie. Hey! Maybe this is a solid time to give 2-Date-Gayle a solid love interest (that isn't her cat).

Turkey Guy

The Butcher from Bob's Burgers

The infamous Turkey Guy. This character has only appeared in one hilarious episode, Season 4's "Turkey in a Bag." He remains unnamed throughout his brief scenes, however, he has left a permanent mark on viewers' minds. In this episode, Bob repeatedly purchases turkeys after he keeps messing up his prepping process. "Messing up" is putting it lightly — the turkey keeps ending up in the toilet.

As Bob keeps returning to buy turkeys, Turkey Guy falls under the impression that Bob has a crush on him. Bob doesn't make the situation any better as he becomes a fumbling mess and confides to all that he is bisexual. This particular scene trends every Thanksgiving season.

It would be fun to see this fan-favorite make a quick cameo. Fans don't need to know much but it'd be nice to figure out if he and Tony ever got back together. Bob's Burgers has a large ensemble cast and these are just four of the characters that could make a noteworthy return in the upcoming movie. Fingers crossed that May 2022 doesn't bring along any disappointment.

The Bob's Burgers Movie is expected to make its theatrical debut on May 27, 2022.
