Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak players will need to get their hands on some rare crafting materials if they want to make sure their armor and weapons are up to snuff. Around each Monster Hunter Rise map are dozens of mining nodes ---these are crystal-like objects that are either blue or white, with the latter containing uncommon ore.

For Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak players seeking Centuria Ore, this guide will go over its locations and what can be crafted with it.

Centuria Ore Locations

The best way for Monster Hunter Rise players to get their hands on Centuria Ore is to go to the Citadel map. The new map for Sunbreak unlocks once players get through a couple of early quests, and is very reminiscent of FromSoftware's Elden Ring.

Look around for the blue and white mining nodes across the map. These can be mined to gather rare and common materials. If players want to gather more materials than normal, they can always craft and equip a Geology Jewel decoration. If players have the level 3 Geologist skill, they can gather one extra time from all mining outcrops, making it much easier to find tons of Centuria Ore in a timely manner.

Players can see the locations of all mining outcrops in The Citadel in the images above. Most numbered zones on the map will have at least one mining outcrop to gather materials from.

It's also easier to find them if players open their detailed map and use the Icon List Selection to only show mining outcrops and nothing else. It makes the map much cleaner.

What to Craft with Centuria Ore

Hunters will need some Centuria Ore to craft weapons such as the L'Oppresseur and the Royal Order's Great Sword. It can also be used to craft some pieces of armor, like the Garangolm Helm, Snowshear Coil, and Lunagaron Mail.

It doesn't really make much sense to get Centuria Ore in this manner, but the other way to get it is by completing a 3-star Master Rank quest called Soft or Spotty?' There's a chance for it to appear as a quest reward. However, since it does take place at The Citadel, players can mine for Centuria Ore during the quest, killing two birds with one stone.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is out now for Nintendo Switch and PC.
