Castlevania may have ended its first chapter over on Netflix, but fans of the anime have a lot to look forward to as the same creative team now embarks on adapting a Richter Belmont spinoffRondo of Blood. Of course, that means most of that cast won’t be coming back for the second run, and that’s especially true for Lenore.

While Castlevania's final season got tons of praise for how it closed off every character’s story arc within its vampiric world, Lenore and Hector certainly got the short end of the stick. The unlikely couple played a big role in a steamy season three for the series as Lenore, ever the diplomat, used her seductive charm on Hector to subdue him to her sisters’ will, thus quickly turning herself into a favorite for viewers and cosplayers.

That makes Lenore a prime cosplay candidate, especially given her look is a bit more elaborate than Sypha or Carmilla’s, so perhaps that’s why Ukrainian cosplayer Shiera chose her instead. The result is absolutely fantastic as Shiera get down every detail in Lenore’s outfit, including the ring on her right hand that reminds her of her sisterhood with Morana, Stryga, and Carmilla. It all adds up to a beautiful photoset that recreates Lenore’s seemingly innocent but ultimately seductive design as a new character in Castlevania.

Do not be fooled by Lenore’s classy look though, because she’s every bit as powerful as any other bat-swarming vampire and even more cunning. Perhaps that’s why Shiera’s Instagram post is perfectly captioned to point out Lenore’s diplomatic skills, which perfectly set up a huge part of Castlevania season four as Hector and Isaac’s finally got their long-awaited reunion.

Although Dracula and some other monsters that don’t belong in this world might be the only ones coming back for Netflix’s adaptation of Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, the prospect of a new entry focused on Richter Belmont and Maria Renard is incredibly promising, especially since that game is still considered one of the series’ best. At the same time, having Richter be the protagonist would make for the perfect excuse to bring Alucard back since both appear in Symphony of the Night, albeit Trevor's descendant only getting a small cameo in the game.

Even if Konami continues to neglect the Castlevania franchise, aside from possibly upcoming collections, Netflix is bent on making the series a big part of its anime offerings, which could get another boost from The Witcher animated series or the many other video game properties that have shows and movies under production.

Castlevania is now available on Netflix.
