Like vampires thirsting for blood, Castlevania fans have been yearning for a new entry in the long-running series. For many fans, the Netflix Castlevania series has held them over, with one fan transforming into the beautiful yet dangerous, Lenore.

Although it took a long time for it to be made, the Castlevania Netflix series has exceeded fan expectations becoming one the best video game TV shows ever made. The show takes inspiration from multiple games like Dracula's Curse (1989) and Curse of Darkness (2005), while also creating new characters and stories to surround those already existing ones. Lenore is a female vampire introduced in Season 3, who makes up for her lack of combat ability with her enchanting looks, supreme intellect, and cunning planning. While other vampires on the Council of Sisters dress ready for combat or danger, Lenore is often found in clothing that radiates her elegance, the most iconic of which being a black and blue dress, accentuated by her heartshaped necklace and long red hair.

Notable cosplayer Irina Meier recently uploaded their new Lenore cosplay to Instagram, and is gaining attention. Meier brings Lenore to life, embodying her Season 3 appearance, complete with the regal black and blue dress, decorative belt and necklace, and perfect hair styling. Unlike another recent Lenore cosplay which shows the character at her most bold and daring, Meier opts to present Lenore's reserved and thoughtful side, as if she is considering her next play or trying to seduce Hector.

Despite the effortless nature that this cosplay exudes, according to Meier, it was one of the hardest cosplays they had ever done. In the description of the post Meier describes their difficulty, saying, "What's the problem? Her unique strange face and emotions!" Meier explains that Lenore's "sexy and dangerous vibe" was difficult to capture on photo, struggling to give those features life. Although Meier saw this as a problem, in some ways it is ironically, still an aspect of Lenore's character, as she tries finding herself in Season 4 of the Castlevania anime.

Season 4 may have ended Lenore's story, and those of many other characters, but it is not the end for the Castlevania anime. Shortly after the final season dropped, it was announced that a Castlevania Netflix spin-off series is in development following Richter Belmont and Maria Renard. Not only does this mean more vampire-hunting goodness, it also means Meier can continue to cosplay more characters from the series. Now if Konami would just green light a new, full Castlevania game, then all would be well.

Castlevania is currently streaming only on Netflix.
