Following the success of Capcom Arcade Stadium, Capcom has announced that it plans to launch a second edition soon. Accordingly, the Japanese publisher will be bringing another batch of retro games to modern consoles for fans looking to enjoy classic Capcom titles.Released in February 2021, Capcom Arcade Stadium features 32 classic Capcom games that were published between 1984 and 2001. A few months later, Capcom Arcade Stadium expanded to other platforms including PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch. Additionally, this offered some modern touches such as varying difficulty options, a "rewind" feature, the ability to save/load any part of a game, and more. However, there were mixed reactions from fans owing to high price tags and certain features like invincibility being locked behind Capcom Arcade Stadium paid DLCs. Though these were later ironed out by Capcom. Now, its sequel will be launching another batch of 32 classic titles.RELATED: Capcom Reveals When Fans Will Get Their Next Exoprimal UpdateAccording to the announcement, Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium will be coming to PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch, with SonSon as a free download as part of the new collection. While Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium may be at least months away, fans of retro titles will get a chance to experience some of Capcom's iconic fighting games with the launch of Capcom Fighting Collection in June this year across multiple platforms. Some of these titles include Hyper Street Fighter 2: The Anniversary Edition, Red Planet, and Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors among others. The bundle ships with enough hits that some speculate the June launch could even surpass the hype for the upcoming Street Fighter 6.
