A creative Call of Duty fan has recreated the legendary Wunderwaffe DG-2 using some clever engineering and weapon parts. The gun is the second Wonder Weapon to appear in Call of Duty Zombies, and many consider it the most powerful weapon to ever be added. Since its debut on Shi No Numa back in Call of Duty: World at War, fans have sought the Wunderwaffe gun in every Call of Duty Zombies experience.
The weapon was crafted by YouTuber Nick Martinelli, who makes videos about creating interesting things. His channel is filled with restoration guides, DIY projects, and recreation of video game objects. In his video, he suggests that the project was started for a Streamer called PaymoneyWubby, and he outlines the entire process of how he created a real Wunderwaffe DG-2. As per the streamer's instructions, the project is made to scale, and in the video description, Nick asks viewers to not make their own unless they go about the process safely.
The process starts with him 3D printing the assets that will be needed. He gives away the files in the video description for free to anyone wanting to print the same objects. Then, he uses a saw to cut the shape of the gun's stock out of wood setting the foundations for the Call of Duty Zombies weapon.
With the stock created, he rounds out the edges, sands it down, and gives it a burned wood cover so that it appears closer to the Wunderwaffe. After this, he laser cuts the metal components out and wields together the parts into solid pieces. After that, he adds a lighting kit and puts it together like a massive puzzle. While this is a summary of this process, the ingenuity that went into creating a real-life Call of Duty Zombies weapon is astounding.
