While Call of Duty Zombies has had its ups and downs in recent years, many agree that 2015’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 was its peak. As such, this particular iteration of Call of Duty Zombies has a thriving custom maps scene on PC - with one player adding Dunder Mifflin to the list of fan creations.

The Office has a dedicated community of fans, as many have grown attached to the show’s unique humor and the relationships between characters like Jim and Pam. Some fans of the show just happen to be video game developers, allowing for some memorable Office-themed easter eggs to be created. While major developers like CD Projekt Red have shown some love for The Office in Cyberpunk 2077, indie developer @logicaledits decided to build an entire custom map that paid homage to the hit comedy.

Spotlight by the Twitter account @CODNewsRecon, the map is packed with subtle and obvious nods to the TV series. The special Zombies map’s easter egg sees players collecting 22 Dundies by fully exploring the map, some of which are found in Angela’s cat drawer by the old copier. Several nameplates are scattered around the rooms, each of which marks the desk of a fan favorite employee. A great nod to asian Jim is included, with a photo of the character present on one of the desks.

The custom Zombies map is full of nods on par with asian Jim that only fans of The Office will appreciate. A stapler can be seen lodged in some jello, a pot of chili can be seen on the floor, and Ryan’s office can be explored. From the lunchroom to the meeting room, everything is spot on, with the overall feel of Dunder Mifflin being captured perfectly inside the custom Zombies map. The lighting is spot on, the Dunder Mifflin logo is seen often, and the play space is full of fun secrets - everything an Office fan can hope for.

While there are more easter eggs scattered throughout, like Creed’s favorite bathroom, @logicaledits outdoes themselves with Electric City playing on the computer of Michael’s office. As shown in the Instagram video from @The Nerf Report, players can listen to the catchy and hilarious rap song whenever they enter the boss’s room, which should make it a popular place to survive for fans of the show. Gameplay-wise, Dunder Mifflin is a close quarters map, with players forced to survive against Zombies that are always just a few feet away. As such, shotguns could prove useful.

With most of the newer Zombies maps being complex, fans of simpler Call of Duty Zombies experiences should get a kick out of the Dunder Mifflin map. For Call of Duty Zombies players who also enjoy The Office, though, it should prove particularly special.
