Although if you are a Call of Duty fan, you’ve already begun your countdown until tickets go on sale for Call of Duty XP 2011, the first annual Call of Duty fan convention, we thought we’d give you a little reminder of when tickets go on sale and where you can get them.

As far as the where and the when, Call of Duty XP tickets will go on sale tomorrow, July 19th at 10am PDT, and will be available over on the official convention website. Tickets are for both days of the event (September 2nd and 3rd), cost $150, and only two tickets are available per person.

While we’re already clued into the days’ events during Call of Duty XP, we still don’t know how many tickets will be available. Considering the price, and the amount of activities the folks at Activision, Infinity Ward, and Sledgehammer Games have planned, we can’t expect it to be Comic-Con size attendance. If you’re looking to be one of the lucky attendees then it might be best to stick near a computer tomorrow morning.

But, for those who are curious about Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer but can’t afford the hefty event price tag, Activision will be providing video coverage of a majority of the days’ events. Not only will gamers get their first look at MW3’s new changes for multiplayer, but Activision will finally be blowing the lid off the Call of Duty Elite veil of secrecy.

Early reports of the service are suggesting it will be beneficial to both novices and veterans of the series — making it seem less like a necessity and more like an addition for those who are interested.

So, don’t forget to set your alarms for 10am, and find your closest friend who will accompany you along this two-day excursion -- if you’re a fan of Call of Duty you aren’t going to want to miss this.

Are there any readers who are planning on attending Call of Duty XP 2011? Are you looking forward to some of the big announcements that are sure to come out of the event?
