Even though Activision opted out of having its own event at E3 this year, arguably its biggest game of 2017, Call of Duty: WW2, was still on display at the show. Sony dedicated some time to the game during its E3 2017 press conference with a stunning new trailer that depicts the horrors of war.
To say that the new Call of Duty: WW2 trailer is intense would be putting it lightly. The game seems to up the graphic violence of the franchise to levels it hasn’t quite seen since Call of Duty: World at War, with enemies being set on fire and losing limbs in gruesome fashion.

Call of Duty: WW2‘s E3 2017 trailer also gives fans a glimpse of some of the weaponry they will be able to utilize in the new game. As expected, the weapons are all historically accurate to World War 2, with soldiers using shotguns, flamethrowers, dynamite, M1 Garands, and more on the battlefield.
Call of Duty: WW2 also seems like it will put a greater emphasis on vehicles than past Call of Duty games. Tanks, airplanes, and more can be spotted in the trailer, and they seem capable of causing serious destruction. However, it’s unclear at this time just how interactive these vehicles will be in the final game.
Even with a brand new E3 2017 trailer for the game, there’s still a lot of unanswered questions when it comes to Call of Duty: WW2. However, with the game’s release just a few months away, fans should be able to expect Activision to pull the curtain back a bit more soon enough. Call of Duty games have traditionally had full-on multiplayer reveals around this time of year, so a more extensive look at the game could come any day now.
Call of Duty: WW2 will be available on November 3rd for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
