Call of Duty: Warzone's Haunting of Verdansk event has added a ton of exciting new content for fans of the battle royale, including Trick or Treat rewards as well as skins based on horror movie icons Billy the Puppet from Saw and Leatherface of Texas Chainsaw Massacre fame. Unfortunately, the Call of Duty: Warzone Haunting of Verdansk update has also introduced some new glitches to the game, including one that essentially gives players wallhacks.

The Call of Duty: Warzone wallhack glitch was shared on TikTok by user sammymedows, who explained how players can perform the glitch. First, Call of Duty: Warzone players need to find a spotter scope, and then aim with it. Next they should drop both of their guns, aim back in with the spotter scope, and pick the guns back up. After doing this, anyone that players see will be marked with a white dot, and aiming down the sights will mark them for the team.

For now, it seems as though this glitch is unique to Call of Duty: Warzone's Zombie Royale mode. It's possible that it works in any of the Warzone night maps, but that hasn't been verified at the time of this writing. In any case, Warzone players spawn with a spotter scope when playing Zombie Royale, and so it wouldn't be difficult at all for players to try the glitch out for themselves. However, it's possible that there could be repercussions for doing this glitch, so Warzone players should be cautious.

Warzone New Zombie Mode

Clearly, this Call of Duty: Warzone wallhack glitch is rather severe and could give players who abuse it a significant advantage over the competition. Considering this, it's quite likely that Infinity Ward will patch it out sooner rather than later. In fact, it wouldn't be all that surprising to see a fix come as early as the game's next update, expected to drop on Tuesday, October 27. Then again, Infinity Ward has been known to release updates even earlier to fix significant issues like this, so it's possible the update will be out sooner than expected.

Then again, since this Call of Duty: Warzone wallhack glitch is apparently exclusive to Zombie Royale, maybe Infinity Ward will let it lie until the event is cover. Warzone's Haunting of Verdansk event is scheduled to end on November 3, and so it may not make a ton of sense of Infinity Ward to spend resources fixing the exploit in a limited-time mode that will be leaving the battle royale soon.

Whatever the case may be, Call of Duty fans will definitely want to keep an eye out for the next set of Warzone patch notes to find out for sure.
