Since its release in 2020, Call of Duty: Warzone has received a variety of new content and bug fixes from updates to the game. One example of the new content is the recent Judge Dredd Bundle that provides Call of Duty players the opportunity to play as the popular character in the game.

Call of Duty: Warzone has had several seasons that added new content to the game, with some more well-received than others. The latest season, Season 5, released last month in August, and the game received Season Five Reloaded earlier in September. Now Season Five Reloaded is getting a new update, and there will be some changes made to two weapons in the game.

According to the patch notes for Season Five Reloaded, the new update is making changes to two SMGs: the Bullfrog and the Shotgun Bravo. The Bullfrog is described as a weapon that emphasizes mobility, effective damage range, weapon handling, and base magazine capacity. The changes will include ADS speed decreased by 9%, movement speed decreased by 1%, and ADS speed movement decreased by 2%. The patch notes state that the changes, along with a recoil bug fix, will let the Bullfrog stand in the same league with its competition.

The Shotgun Bravo is described with the focus on effective damage range, magazine capacity, mobility, and rate of fire. Changes to the weapon include its maximum damage range getting decreased from 4.5 to 3.5 meters, second damage range decreased from 8.1 to 5.5 meters, and third damage range decreased from 13.2 to 9.9 meters. By making these changes, the patch notes state the Shotgun Bravo will "feel more like a shotgun" instead of a sniper in Call of Duty: Warzone.

Aside from the changes to the weapons, the patch notes also show the rest of the new changes to Call of Duty: Warzone that players can expect to see. The new update addresses a few bugs, such as fixing the reduced recoil for the Bullfrog SMG. The new update also fixes the collision issues with certain elements on Rebirth Island that allowed players to peek and shoot through them.

In the new update, the game mode Iron Trials '84 will be receiving fixes to several issues it had. The Specialist Token has been added for Buy Stations, Contract Cash rewards per player have been reduced while Multiplier values remain unchanged, and various other changes. The patch notes also show a list of changes being made to attachments for three Barrel weapons in the game: the Krig 6, AK-47, and the XM4.
