A Call of Duty: Warzone glitch that developers thought they had fixed, apparently made a return appearance recently. While the company hasn't confirmed the bug is back, some Warzone players reported spotting the glitch in a recent game.

One particular map in the game has long been home to all kinds of glitches and bugs that have annoyed players. Now just two weeks after Raven Software claimed to have fixed some rather major problems in Call of Duty: Warzone one particular issue is back.

Rebirth Island, the revamped version of Blackout’s Alcatraz has had quite a few Warzone map exploiting problems over the last few months. Generally, the issues have been wall breachers being able to ambush players, seemingly out of nowhere. However, it's gotten a bit worse if at least one player's report is more widespread. That player claims one of their opponents was able to go under the map in order to ambush his team.

Reddit user MrMakaveli posted a video of the underground glitch being used against him on the social media site. The user said he and his teammates had just finished a firefight and were reviving a teammate. He said that out of nowhere, his whole group got beamed to death.

When the camera switched to the point of view of the assailant, it showed that the shooter was actually under the Call of Duty: Warzone map. It appeared the shooter was in part of the ground between Chem Eng and Decon. That's noteworthy because it means this apparent glitch happened near the same part of the map before. That wall breach most often happened at the corner of Chem Eng that is closest to both Bioweapon Labs. The fact that it's that close to where the glitch was first spotted has several users believing if it's not the same one, it's a continuation of the problem.

While Raven Software is busy stomping out other Call of Duty: Warzone bugs, it hasn't been able to specifically address the video and report of this one resurfacing. That means that for now, the best way for players to see a recurrence of what MrMakaveli reported, is to stay away from that area of the map entirely. At this point, it's unclear exactly how the bug fix was apparently circumvented.  Part of the issue might be that the reappearance hasn't been all that widely reported. For now, at least, the Reddit user is the first to encounter the reemergence of the problem.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
