The 60-million-player strong battle royale Call of Duty: Warzone has had numerous records set recently, a pro players and streamers alike rack up kills. But as the competition grows fiercer, so too do the records, as Vikkstar123, FaZe Priestahh, aBeZy, and Cellium shattered the squad record previously held by TylerTeePee, Symfuhny, DougisRaw, and HusKerrs just yesterday.

On May 15, TylerTeePee, Symfuhny, DougisRaw, and HusKerrs set the record for the most kills in quads (four-player squads) with an astonishing 121 kills. Note that the max number of players in Warzone is 150. A record like that shouldn’t come as a surprise with those players, seeing as how HusKerrs himself previously had the record for kills in solos with 37 kills.

But somehow another squad destroyed that quads record with an incredible 138 kills. That squad consisted of Vikkstar123, FaZe Priestahh, aBeZy, and Cellium. More impressive still is that the record was set in a 135-player lobby. Vikkstar123 also noted on Twitter that the other 39 teams in the 40-team lobby collectively had 147 kills.

Kill counts literally can’t go much higher in Warzone, as there is a theoretical limit on players that can come back from the Gulag, but this record being a 26 kills higher than the previous quads record should ensure this one sticks for a while longer.

As Call of Duty: Warzone nears the end of Season 3, publisher Activision and developer Infinity Ward have been teasing what may come in Season 4. The teases seem to hint at a new weapon, and something to do with the nuke located in Bunker 11 on the Warzone map. It is also possible that everyone’s favorite Brit, Captain Price, may be a playable operator in Season 4. Only time will tell what Infinity Ward has planned for Season 4, but hopefully it will at least include a change to the loadouts in the Gulag, which players are not particularly pleased with.

In terms of other Call of Duty content to look forward to, Activision has confirmed that the Gulag will be coming to Call of Duty: Mobile. Though in what capacity the Gulag will be utilized in Mobile is unclear.

Call of Duty: Warzone is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
