Call of Duty: Warzone Season 6 features numerous new additions, including a powerful new sniper rifle known as the SP-R208. Old school CoD fans may know the weapon by its old name, the R700, but Call of Duty Pro NICKMERCS has provided a deadly Warzone loadout regardless of the name fans use for the sniper rifle.
The weapon is one of Season 6’s free weapon additions, joining the AS Val assault rifle within Modern Warfare and Warzone. NICKMERCS wasted no time putting together a dangerous new loadout built around the SP-R208, equipping the rifle with attachments that make it even more deadly. While it is still a new addition and it is a bit early to say, fans have been quick to call the weapon the best sniper in Warzone.
With one exciting Warzone sniper battle ending in mutual destruction, getting the edge over an opponent could make a huge difference when trying to snag a win in the free-to-play battle royale. NICKMERC’s loadout prioritizes accuracy, dropping attachments that boost speed in favor of ones that guarantee player shots will hit their target. Like most loadouts recommended by pros, the Monolithic Suppresser is a must.
Next up is the barrel, with the pro CoD player urging fans to equip the SP-R 26” to ensure the best possible build. A basic Tac Laser is suggested for the laser slot, while NICKMERCS believes the Solozero SP-R 28MM is what should be used for an optic. Rounding out the list is the .338 Lupua Mag 5-R Mags, combining to create a deadly sniper that may be just as effective as NICKMERCS’ no recoil M4 loadout.

The professional Call of Duty player spoke very highly of the new sniper rifle in the video detailing the loadout, citing its hitscan nature as a major plus and comparing the weapon to the deadly Kar98k. With players not needing to lead shots at range, the weapon is brutally accurate and will likely be seen in many Call of Duty: Warzone lobbies going forward. The extreme power behind the SP-R208 should help players acquire Warzone’s newly added killstreaks and allow them to truly dominate within their lobbies, with accurate players taking advantage of everything that the renamed R700 has to offer.
For players who prefer less high-skill weapons, the best loadout for Warzone’s new AS Val was recently discovered as well. With two powerful but vastly different weapons added to the game, Warzone matches should feel a bit different going forward.
