With 150 players in the battleground, enemies returning from the gulag, self-revives, and more, Call of Duty: Warzone can be quite the hectic experience, which is part of the reason many enjoy the fast-paced battle royale. Getting a win in Warzone takes strategy, map knowledge, and gun skill. Many are happy to come out with a victory of any kind, so when a certain battle royale professional set the solo kill record recently with a dub, the community took notice.

HusKerrs is a well-known battle royale professional, specifically within games like Apex Legends and Call of Duty: Blackout. He has been streaming Call of Duty: Warzone lately and had a dominant run on the recently added solo mode.

HusKerrs ended up with 37 kills and the victory, and more impressively, with a new solo record for kills. HusKerrs' final kill was with the powerful Epic Grenade Launcher that is super hard to find, however, the majority of his kills were with perhaps the most reliable gun in Warzone, the M4A1.

The M4A1 is one of the fastest killing weapons in Warzone and is extremely accurate. Players like HusKerrs use their aggressive style for close-range affairs and are still able to take down opponents in mid-range battles as well thanks to how accurate the weapon is.

About half-way through the match, HusKerrs session, and therefore the record, was in doubt. He was killed by an opponent and sent to the Gulag. But after winning his Gulag bout, picking up his best possible loadout (which included that powerful M4A1), he closed out with a 22 killstreak and won the game.

It will be interesting to see if this record holds. Infinity Ward announced that Call of Duty: Warzone has reached 50 million players, so it may not be long until someone beats that 37 kill mark by a notch or two.

Players like HusKerrs seem to be on another level. It may even be HusKerrs himself who ups the ante and beats his own solo-record, but whether someone is playing for the laughs or playing for setting records, having a blast is what matters most.

Call of Duty: Warzone is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
