It feels like there is a never ending stream of glitches in Call of Duty: Warzoneand a new one has just been discovered. The so called "snake glitch" is causing players to appear to be prone, while they are actually standing. This has lead to Call of Duty: Warzone players slithering across the map like high speed snakes.

Videos of the glitch have been circulating social media for a few days now. For many players, the glitch is something to laugh about, which makes sense. Players zooming around the map on their stomachs is a pretty ridiculous sight. Some fans have been comparing it to another funny Warzone glitch that rockets players into space.

But while the snake glitch might seem harmless like the neon lights Warzone glitch, it's actually proved to be quite frustrating for players. Usually when players are prone they are harder to hit, but also slower. But in snake mode, there is no trade off. Players are both fast and hard to hit, which is unfair to other players in the game. An example can be seen here.

It's also unfair because the players who are experiencing the snake glitch are not actually prone. They have a full field of vision, meaning they can see their opponents, while their opponents can't see them. Obviously, this makes gunfights super unbalanced, and many players have been quick to call for a patch. This isn't the first time that Call of Duty: Warzone has had issues with vision glitches.

As of now, it's unclear what's causing the snake glitch glitch to happen. As a result, it seems like players aren't intentionally abusing the glitch to cheat their way to victory. Of course, some Warzone players aren't above using glitches to win. Many players were abusing the invincibility glitch to win games, although thankfully, this glitch has now been patched out of the game.

While this glitch is not as egregious as some of the other ones players have found in Call of Duty: Warzone, it still gives some players a pretty big advantage over others. So far Infinity Ward has been good about quickly patching out glitches, and hopefully, it'll get this one out of the game soon.

Call of Duty: Warzone is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
