Outside of complaints regarding bugs and hackers, Call of Duty: Warzone fans are often calling out the game’s most unbalanced items. Since they were added, Call of Duty: Warzone fans have been critical of Caldera’s planes, and a recent clip is frustrating gamers even more.

While players have shared some incredible clips where they bring down Call of Duty: Warzone’s planes, it is usually those in the pilot seat dishing out damage. Planes are difficult to counter considering that most gamers do not run launchers, forcing them to either find and use an AA gun or get in another one of the vehicles for some dogfighting. Unfortunately, those walking out in the open are likely to be gunned down quickly by an enemy pilot, as the turret fire from planes does serious damage to those on the ground level of Caldera.

Many Call of Duty: Warzone players have taken advantage of this, hopping in planes to wreak havoc on those on the ground. Normally, the damage pilots can do has been limited by the fact that they can only down enemies. While being downed by a plane is frustrating, pilots are unable to finish off the downed players, meaning that they need to take out an entire team to score some eliminations. Unfortunately, it seems like this balancing tactic is no longer in place, as a recent clip from @IceManIsaac seems to show off a secret buff for the planes.

In the clip, the Call of Duty: Warzone streamer is seen piloting a plane, turning his attention to an enemy on the ground. He deals significant damage to the player, downing them. Normally, @IceManIsaac would need to kill the downed player’s teammate or have a squadmate on the ground clean up the kill. For whatever reason, though, the game lets him do this himself. A few extra shots from the plane’s guns are enough to finish off the downed foe, with @IceManIsaac stunned by the kill.

This is not the first time that players have pointed to items getting a secret buff in Call of Duty: Warzone. Recently, Cluster Strikes seemingly got stronger, sticking more closely to a moving player than they did before. However, given that so much of the community was already unhappy about the addition of planes, the idea that they could be even stronger will not go over well. Hopefully, this was just a one-off glitch and not the new norm, as players could find themselves dying instantly to planes and having no opportunity to fight back.

While many players have grown to fear weapons like the Cooper Carbine, planes may be just as scary going forward. Assuming that the clip from @IceManIssac is not a one-off occurrence, the community could soon have another overpowered mechanic to be outraged about.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
