Call of Duty: Warzone will launch its fourth season of Black Ops Cold War integration beginning June 17, bringing with it plenty of new content for fans of the battle royale to enjoy. Following the Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 cinematic trailer that set up the story, Activision has now detailed everything that Call of Duty fans can expect when the new season goes live this coming Thursday, June 17.

Like usual, the new Call of Duty: Warzone season means big changes to the battle royale. This will include a brand new point of interest on the map in the form of Satellite Crash Sites. Upon downloading the Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 update, players will find Satellite Crash Sites dotted around Verdansk, and players who manage to root through the rubble will find Field Upgrades, Killstreaks, and other rewards.

Besides Satellite Crash Sites, Call of Duty: Warzone players will also find Red Doors. Call of Duty: Warzone's Red Doors have been leaked in the past, and while their confirmation doesn't come with any details, the leaks point to them functioning as teleporters. Essentially, the Red Doors will allow for Call of Duty: Warzone fast travel, something that's been attempted in the game before with the subway system. The Call of Duty: Warzone subways weren't a big hit with fans, so it will be interesting to see how they react to the Red Doors.

While out exploring Verdansk in Season 4, Call of Duty: Warzone players can get around using a brand new vehicle. Call of Duty: Warzone is adding Dirt Bikes to the battle royale, which is said to be faster than the Warzone vehicles that are currently available in the game. Dirt Bikes have previously been available in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and so anyone cosmetics that players have unlocked for their Cold War Dirt Bikes will transfer to Warzone.

The standard Call of Duty: Warzone modes will be playable with Season 4, as will Verdansk Resurgence Mini. A new mode called Payload is coming mid-season, which will serve as Call of Duty: Warzone's first objective-based mode.

And finally, the last thing to note about Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 is that it is introducing a brand new Gulag. The fan favorite Hijacked map is going to take the place of Call of Duty: Warzone's current Gulag come the June 17 launch. Whether or not it's as popular as the previous Warzone Gulags remains to be seen, but fans will find out later this week.

Call of Duty: Warzone is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
