Call of Duty: Warzone has successfully introduced battle royale gameplay to the Call of Duty franchise. While the gameplay conventions of battle royale have been a hit for other franchises, combining the mechanics of Call of Duty has impressed fans. To keep the game interesting, Warzone receives plenty of updates that add new features and address bugs. The most recent update has gotten seasonal as it adds bundles and skins with a spooky theme just in time for Halloween.

There have already been spooky updates in Warzone but many have been keen to get their hands on skins and unique features. Fortunately, the recent October 13 update has now added a host of cosmetics for players to try out. These new features will come at a cost but with 27 new bundles to choose from, they will likely tempt some players. The new skins also pay homage to a number of horror films.

CoD Tracker has updated its database to include a number of additional skin bundles which include Saw masks, Texas Chainsaw Massacre masks, and a Grim Reaper Ghost bundle. There are also less film-specific options for those who have a broader interest in the tropes of horror. While some will wish that they could unlock this content through the skills they display in Call of Duty: Warzone, it seems that most will have to be obtained through a financial transaction. Nonetheless, these skins will likely tempt players who are eager to take part in the Halloween event that is set to take place in the game.

The Call of Duty: Warzone Jigsaw mask is already terrifying players and it will be interesting to see if this becomes a popular choice in the game. Equally, others will be tempted by the other spooky themes they can explore. These aesthetics alongside the Halloween-themed event in Verdansk should create a creepy atmosphere when players are battling to be the last team standing. The masks should become even scarier as the event gets underway.

There is a night map coming to Warzone to celebrate Halloween and safe to say, most players would like to avoid running into Jigsaw under these circumstances. With that in mind, many players will likely want to spend some money and get the creepy skin so they can freak their opponents out. Whether players scare each other or not, it is clear that Warzone is embracing the season with its latest update.

Call of Duty: Warzone is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
