Raven Software has been managing Call of Duty: Warzone since the game's launch, and throughout this time, fans have had mixed reactions. The developer has been slow to reply to problems, released updates that caused even more bugs, and at one time, didn't communicate with the game's community as much as it would like. Among the many disgruntled Call of Duty: Warzone fans is Dr Disrespect, who recently voiced a rather direct opinion.

After a variety of issues left him less than satisfied with Call of Duty: Warzone's current state, the popular streamer pointed the blame at Raven Software. While the developers manage every factor of the game environment, it was of his opinion that the reason Call of Duty: Warzone has so many problems is due to their inexperience.

In an April 18th, 2021 stream, Dr Disrespect pointed out that Raven Software has always been a support studio. At the moment, the streamer is under the impression that they are supporting the current transition between Call of Duty: Warzone's current state and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's version of the game. He hopes that once Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War fully inherit the game in season 3 that Treyarch will take over the development process. If Raven Software gets reassigned, then fans will be able to see Treyarch's handling of the battle royale for the next year of content.

When Call of Duty: Warzone launched, Infinity Ward was the lead development studio. Since then, Raven Software took over the main development duties after Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War integrated with the game. This shows a sense of transition for fans, and if Treyarch takes over, the game could shift in a variety of ways.

Dr Disrespect is not alone in criticizing Call of Duty: Warzone under Raven Software's guidance. There are tons of players who would agree with the popular streamer, and many of them believe that Treyarch may be better for the battle royale's development.

Despite this, there are other fans who believe that Raven Software is here to stay. While it is unknown what the future of the game will look like, Call of Duty: Warzone's Season 3 of content is fast approaching. Whether it is Raven Software or Treyarch leading the charge, the game is looking at a major shift in development and an upcoming evolution of change. Until this happens, the future of Call of Duty: Warzone will continue to remain in Raven Software's hands.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
