As Season 4 of Call of Duty: Warzone has progressed, players have been able to enjoy another steady stream of new content, but they've also had to deal with new bugs too. One major bug some players have been dealing with involves the simple act of swapping weapons, resulting in them holding a random mess of textures.

Other major bugs have discovered that are related to the new Rytec AMR sniper weapon. Players were quick to realise that the thing is far too powerful for its own good, especially when combined with explosive rounds.

However, it has also been noted that the weapon is incapable of taking out armored players via headshot, instead only cracking the armor. Joe Cecot, co-design director of multiplayer at Infinity Ward, was asked on Twitter whether this was intentional and he clarified that this is a bug and that the team is already working on a fix for it.

That's not the only issue with the weapon either. While using explosive rounds with it is overpowered, as stated earlier, players have realised that using this ammo type seems to negate any experience gained. As a result, players have been unable to unlock any of the other attachments for it.

Cecot once again confirmed that Infinity Ward is working to resolve this issue, but we was unable to provide an estimated date for when the fix would be ready. For the time being, it's probably for the best that players hold off on using the weapon.

This is especially unfortunate as the sniper has quickly proven to be a popular choice, as it has a much faster ADS (the action of moving the weapon to the center of the screen) compared to other rifle weapons and an overall great damage output.

This isn't the only thing infuriating Call of Duty players at the moment. A recent update has incorporated 200-player matches, but at the cost of removing Quads, upsetting fans of that mode and drawing complaints that 200 players is simply too many.

In the meantime, any newcomers who picked up Warzone simple and beginner-friendly tips with Season 4 and may be struggling to get to grips with it can read up on some to help get them started.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
