Most of the Call of Duty: Warzone clips that make the rounds online showcase impressive moments or annoying bugs, though there are the rare bits of footage that are built around creating laughs. One new Call of Duty: Warzone clip falls into this category, as it sees a player crushed by their own vehicle.
Usually, funny Call of Duty: Warzone clips need to be set up beforehand, with the recent Star Wars parody taking plenty of pre-planning. However, the truly special moments happen unexpectedly, with gamers encountering a silly gunfight or death in the middle of Verdansk. That was the case for Reddit user Taiizor, as the player showed off a clip where they see an enemy in a car. While they were likely planning to kill the opponent, their foe beat them to the punch.
The clip begins with the enemy rolling around in a truck, driving on the ice lake from the original Verdansk. While this makes it clear that this is an older video, as the ice lake no longer exists in the Verdansk 84 map, Taiizor’s gameplay is no less entertaining. As the Redditor scopes in on the truck, they see the player attempting to drive up a steep hill. After several attempts, the vehicle gets stuck in place, and the frustrated enemy gets out of the truck.
Luckily for the Call of Duty: Warzone player, they disembark with a riot shield on their back, making it nearly impossible for Taiizor to land a shot. Positioned directly behind the truck driver, the sniper has no angle where he can snag an easy kill. Fortunately, he does not need to, as the hilarity ensues right away. Noticing their truck falling down the hill since they left it high up, the enemy attempts to get behind it so they can re-enter. However, this turns out to be a bad idea, as they are crushed almost instantly.
Clearly amused by the moment, Taiizor adds even more comedy to the footage by increasing the volume on the death sound. The scream is impossible not to hear this way, and given the angle the moment was shot from, it is even easier to appreciate. While Call of Duty: Warzone vehicles have killed players many times, an onlooker watching the process play out adds a lot of entertainment to the brief sequence. The last half of the clip sees two people dying with laughter, turning the enemy’s unfortunate demise into a proper meme.
With Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 just a few days away, it will be interesting to see what funny moments gamers stumble upon as they explore the new content. No matter what, though, it will be hard to top the brilliance of this accidental suicide.
