The Roze skin in Call of Duty: Warzone has been controversial since it was introduced. The skin is considered pay-to-win by the game's community, and for many, it is a constant problem in multiplayer matches. Despite Raven Software decided to nerf the Call of Duty: Warzone skin, it seems that a Season 3 addition may rekindle the problem.

Call of Duty: Warzone has several broken features and one of the worst is the Roze skin controversy. Raven Software declared it would be fixing the Roze skin, but a new skin was revealed that carries many of the same characteristics. The fans are dubbing this new skin "Roze 2.0," as many predict it will gain popularity among Roze users for its color scheme.

In a Tweet posted by ModernWarzone, a brief video highlights four new operators within Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3. Of the four, a new Wraith skin has the same color pallet as the Roze skin. This sparks the controversy once again, as Wraith's outfit is a full black wet suit with dark holsters and straps. The main difference between the two is the head, which is clearly visible without any obstructing paint. Players are concerned the head will not make enough of a difference in the dark and fast-paced environments of Verdansk. Varying scenarios, locations, lighting situations, and other factors could obscure the skin even more making the color pallet making this skin a concerning factor for many fans.

Until Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3 fans can use the Wraith skin, the effects are unknown but based on this early observation, many players predict that it will turn out the same way that Roze did. Fans in the comments are already predicting that Wraith will be the new Roze, while other players county by pointing out the highlights in Wraith's color scheme

The Roze skin has scarred the community, as many players believe it gives an unfair advantage. Call of Duty: Warzone exploits are often used in excess, and with the Roze skin's strengths known, many players are openly abusing the dark color pallet.

Despite this controversy, many Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3 updates are fixing long persisting problems within the game. Call of Duty: Warzone is looking at nuclear devastation, and whether or not the Wraith skin is a problem, the community has much bigger things to look forward to in the near future.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
