The new Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 content patch has launched, and fans are discovering mysterious Red Doors scattered across the map. Originally appearing in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's campaign, these doors have a unique function that evolves the game's strategy. While there is some debate as to their purpose in the story, they have become a unique gameplay option for Call of Duty: Warzone fans to explore.

At the beginning of Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3, fans speculated the addition of the Red Doors. Theorized as a fast-travel system, the release of the doors has come with some unique surprises for the game's community. Although the doors act as a faster way to travel than the subway system, there is a risk involved with choosing the new option.

The Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 update's Red Doors act as a fast-travel system to a random point within Verdansk. So far, there has been no way to track the exact destination of the doors, but fans are finding the randomized travel worth their effort. Each door's endpoint is found bursting with valuable loot and items that can give Call of Duty: Warzone players a significant edge on the battlefield.

Each door is hiding loot similar to what would be inside the Bunkers. Call of Duty: Warzone fans are finding a room filled with loot that includes Legendary Chests, Epic or higher rarity weapons, Armor Boxes, Munitions Boxes, Satchels, and scorestreaks. With each location being randomized, the best way to find the treasure trove of gear is through these secret doors. Locations with double the amount of Red Doors have double the chance of being profitable so plan drops accordingly.

  • 1. Summit, center building.
  • 2. South-west of Summit, inside an Old Mine.
  • 3. North-west end of Salt Mine in the most Northern building located upstairs.
  • 4. South-west end of Salt Mine inside a large building.
  • 5. Inside Factory located within the fully-built plane.
