For as popular as the free to play Call of Duty: Warzone continues to be, even a year later, the mode continues to be plagued by numerous bugs and glitches. For PC players, the major pain point for most is due to the ongoing issue of hacking and cheats like wall hacks and aimbotting. While Raven continues to work on safeguarding the experience through ban waves and anti-cheat techniques, the hacking issues don't appear to be slowing down anytime soon.

After it was introduced back in December 2020, Rebirth Island has been another source of frustration with players due to the many issues that have stemmed from the map itself. While it offered fans an alternative to the more massive area Verdansk and quicker matches, players have seen all sorts of issues from players getting under the map, hiding in walls, and even becoming invincible. While many of the problems have been fixed, things have seemingly broken down once again, with most players regarding the map as being completely broken on PC.

New reports have started popping up online as PC players highlight a new issue where they can see through buildings entirely, essentially giving every player free wallhacks when on the Rebirth Island map. Call of Duty: Warzone subReddit user ElMontoya reported that they were able to see through staircases when inside certain buildings. Soon enough, the problem escalated and expanded beyond just certain staircases.

Taking to YouTube, ElMontoya showed an actual match impacted by the glitch where many structures and buildings failed to load, including the plane that players drop in from. Loadouts, staircases, certain items on the ground also disappeared, and in some cases, walls completely vanished letting them see across the map into places like the underground bunker.

While this is no doubt a major issue, it seems that ElMontoya isn't the only person seeing this. Comments flooded in under the initial post with similar stories or completely new problems like Pado0ne who was sent back to the menu after getting hit with an airstrike, despite being inside a building. It seems the easiest solution to the missing walls and structures is to log out and then back in, though with the ability to use free wall hacks, it's likely that there will be more than a few people to take advantage of the situation especially with the recent spike of hacking related issues in Season 2.

While Rebirth Island continues to be a mess for PC players, Verdansk appears to be quickly heading to an interesting end state. While many expect the map to be retired toward the end of the season, a zombie invasion is currently underway as the horde continues to expand across the map with each passing week. Rumors indicated a nuclear strike would end the season, and now a newly discovered Easter egg at the hut outside the TV Station area seems to tease something big coming soon.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
