Although Call of Duty: Warzone is a free to play game, it has managed to be a massive source of income for Activision thanks in large part to the live service style microtransactions. Every few months, players can pick up a new seasonal battle pass, filled to the brim with new cosmetics, premium currency, and more. In addition, new updates bring cosmetic packs and bundles, ranging from new outfits for existing characters to more elaborate cameos like Snoop Dog, Godzilla, and 80s action stars like Rambo.

While the microtransactions no doubt helps keep the game feel fresh for players with new content to check out, it hasn't always been a smooth ride. Some skins have not been received quite as well by players, such as the Godzilla skin being regarded as pay to lose, to the infamous visibility issues with the Rook skin for Roze, which essentially made her invisible in dark areas. Unfortunately, it seems another new bundle skin has been added into the game, giving players a new headache to content with.

Alongside the June 30 update for Call of Duty: Warzone, new bundles were added into the store including one called Violet Stealth. The pack gives players new premium currency, two weapon blueprints, accessories, and a legendary Operator Skin for Florence called Night Terror. Essentially, it's a black suit with purple highlights and a streamlined helmet. However, the skin has been giving players fits due to its dark color and upsetting the player base who have already begun calling it "Roze 3.0."

Naturally, discussions have broken out online and on social media. One Call of Duty: Warzone player named Elvis COD has shown off the skin in action, taking players by surprise hiding in darkened areas and easily picking them off. The Warzone subReddit has also been debating the reason that Raven continues to add skins which are impossible to see in dark corners. While many believe it's related to money, others have indicated lighting is a bigger issue as a recent update seemingly had a negative impact by making certain spots on the map incredibly dark.

Either way, this isn't the first or second time a skin has frustrated the community. While the Rook Roze skin was eventually updated to have a subtle glow effect the further away it was from a player, it wasn't long before a couple of new skins were added that set the community off again. Calls of Roze 2.0 first began with the addition of a new operator called Wraith, who sported similar dark colors, though lacking a traditional helmet. A few months later, fans turned their attention to the Hypersonic Portnova skin, which also give the operator a dark and narrow suit, though ultimately, fans found that it wasn't quite as bad as the original Roze outfit.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
