As a battle royale game, Call of Duty: Warzone obviously has a massive play space for gamers to traverse. While there are vehicles to help with this, they cannot get players everywhere, so a Call of Duty: Warzone class that provides a boost to speed is always helpful.

The loadout in question focuses on the OTs 9, a Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War SMG. The weapon was added during Season 4 Reloaded, and can be unlocked in a few ways. Multiplayer has players killing enemies impacted by tactical equipment, Zombies focuses on killing teleporting Tempests in Outbreak, and Call of Duty: Warzone sees players getting double kills with SMGs in several matches. Once the weapon is unlocked, players will want to level it up so they can equip more attachments.

The loadout in question comes from TrueGameData, a YouTuber known for pointing out secret nerfs and buffs in Call of Duty: Warzone. The build is entirely focused on movement speed, something that the OTs 9 excels at. While there are other SMGs that have good speed, like the Milano and PPSh, nothing surpasses the seven meters per second of the OTs 9. There are three attachments that lean into this speed, letting players zoom across the map and beat even the fastest moving storm.

The attachments in question are the Patrol Grip, Tiger Team Spotlight, and Spetsnaz PKM Stock. In the video, TrueGameData shows just how effective this build is, as they are managing to outrun Verdansk’s train without the Double Time perk equipped. This is some incredible speed, and while some players will surely want to build their weapon around dealing damage, a movement build could be very useful. Beating players to power positions is important, and it is hard to imagine anyone losing a race with this OTs 9 in their hands.

While the other two attachments are left up to the player, it would make sense to use the GRU Suppressor and 8.1” Task Force Barrel. Not only will they keep the speed of the gun intact, but they both provide a helpful boast to range - meaning this gun can kill as well as it helps players move around. Like with other Call of Duty: Warzone loadouts, it would help to have a second weapon built specifically for ranged battles, but the OTs 9 being part of the current meta makes this setup worth trying out.

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Barrel: 8.1” Task Force
  • Underbarrel: Patrol Grip
  • Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
  • Stock: Spetsnaz PKM

With solid damage and the quickest movement possible, Call of Duty: Warzone players are getting a lot out of this loadout. With the upcoming Pacific Map looking massive like Verdansk, this movement speed will likely be just as helpful there as well.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
