Successful Call of Duty: Warzone players rely heavily on planning ahead, as positioning almost always plays a part in securing victory. However, one new bug is making the preparation process in Call of Duty: Warzone a lot more difficult than it usually is, as some players have spawned in without knowledge on the storm's location.

While Call of Duty: Warzone players have been continuously plagued by the stim glitch, and the invisibility glitch has reared its head a few times now, the latest problem with the battle royale game appears to be brand new. Posted by a Call of Duty: Warzone fan on YouTube, it seems like there is a chance for players to start matches without the circle appearing on the mini map. If this happens, it seems like players will be dealing with the issue for the entire match.

And odd bug with no known cause, the player seems to be shocked by the issue. Playing the Call of Duty: Warzone game mode Buy Back, the player checks the map to see where the circle is. However, he sees nothing, and this does not change when the player successfully lands, either. Having no idea where the storm is coming from or how close he is to an untimely death being caused by the gas, the player frustratingly says “I don’t know where the zone is... wow, okay” before hopelessly searching some crates for loot.

However, the player’s woes do not end there, as he checks his money counter in the corner to discover another major issue. While players are supposed to spawn in with $4500, giving them the opportunity to buy themselves back upon death, the player is given no money to start off the game. Making the match even harder, the Call of Duty: Warzone player would need to rack up lots of kills to make back the money he should have had coming into the game.

With the Call of Duty: Warzone player already at a massive disadvantage due to an inability to follow the circle, the lack of money is a killing blow on the fan’s hopes for the match. Fortunately, this bug seems incredibly rare. With few other reports of the issue and the problem only being tied to the Buy Back modes of the game, it will likely not be as widespread as some of the game’s other issues. Still, with previous bugs letting players see Call of Duty: Warzone’s circle early, this is quite a change of pace.

With Call of Duty: Warzone’s hacking problems also still prevalent, there are plenty of things that can go wrong in a match without this unnecessary glitch. Thankfully, though, the bug happens early, so players can leave lobbies right away if they see the glitch occur.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
