Almost every Monday, Activision releases a new blog post that focuses on the week's upcoming content for Call of Duty: Modern WarfareWarzone, and more. Since Modern Warfare and Warzone share content and have cross-progression, both games have a brand new playable Operator to look forward to this week.

Activision has revealed the new multiplayer character Talon for both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone. Talon will have a dog named Sasquatch, who will come into play during Talon's Finishing Move. For the uninitiated, Finishing Moves in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone happen when a player manages to sneak up on an enemy and get them with a stealth melee attack.

Unlike the items in the Modern Warfare Battle Pass, Talon will not be available as an unlock. Instead players have to purchase Talon's bundle from the in-game store, which will net them two Legendary weapon blueprints and two tier skips for the Battle Pass. Talon being playable in both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's standard multiplayer mode and the Warzone battle royale mode makes his bundle a little more valuable than it would be otherwise, so that's a plus.

Talon isn't the only new thing coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone this week. The next update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is also adding a brand new 6v6 multiplayer map to the game in the form of Khandor Hideout, which is described as a medium-sized map that favors close-quarters combat. The new Khandor Hideout map for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was previously teased by the Season 2 road map, so it's nice to see it finally added to the game proper.

On the Warzone side of things, fans have four new weapons to look forward to in the battle royale. The next Warzone update will be adding the 725 shotgun, MK2 Carbine .50 GS, and EBR-14, so players should expect to see those on the battle royale map this week.

Overall, the next updates for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone should give fans plenty to do. More detailed information will be available in the update's patch notes, which Infinity Ward will likely release on Tuesday, March 24.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
