Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile pre-orders are now live for iOS users on the App Store. All players who pre-register on either the App Store or Google Play will receive a series of milestone rewards for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile including the latest reward for reaching 25 million pre-registrations.

The hype has been building for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile since its announcement in March. This excitement was fueled by the reveal that the fan-favorite map Verdansk, originally playable in Call of Duty Warzone, would be returning as a playable map in Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. While it may not be one-to-one with the original, this is the first time Warzone players have had the chance to play on the map since it was replaced with the map Caldera in conjunction with the first season of Call of Duty: Vanguard in 2021.

As pre-orders open up for iOS users, players who pre-register on the App Store or Google Play will unlock a set of milestone rewards including a "Dark Familiar" Emblem and "Archfiend" M4 Weapon Blueprint. However, with the latest announcement that the game has reached 25 million pre-registrations, registered players will also receive a "Ghost-Condemned" Operator Skin based on the character from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

This announcement comes one day after the release of Call of Duty: Warzone 2, which was released alongside the first season of Modern Warfare 2. Additionally, there has been a tease for another milestone reward if the game reaches 35 million pre-registrations before launch, a more than attainable goal. According to Activision, Warzone Mobile was the fastest game from Activision, Blizzard, or King to reach 15 million pre-registrations on Google Play.

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is following in the footsteps of its direct predecessor, 2019's Call of Duty Mobile. This was the franchise's most successful foray into the mobile market, particularly for its battle royale mode which preceded the original Warzone. Similar to other games such as Fortnite, Roblox, and Minecraft, the Call of Duty franchise has proven itself capable of succeeding in both traditional gaming markets on consoles and PCs as well as on mobile devices.

Following in the landmark success of both PUBG and Fortnite, the Call of Duty franchise has had a history of incorporating battle royale modes into their releases which goes as far back as the China-exclusive Call of Duty Online and the more widely-known Blackout mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. With Warzone bringing the series to new heights of popularity, the mobile version is likely to experience resounding success across Android and iOS users.
