Call of Duty: Warzone fans are always sharing ways that the game could be improved, and that is unlikely to change anytime soon. The latest suggestion sees the Call of Duty: Warzone fan base asking Raven for a minor adjustment to the game’s loot system.

In recent months, Call of Duty: Warzone feature requests have proven extremely successful. The anti-cheat system is a good example of this, as the community constantly demanded better software to combat cheaters until it was eventually announced. On a smaller scale, the popularity of the Iron Trials ‘84 playlist has been seeing gamers begging for it to become permanent, with Raven recently announcing that Iron Trials is coming to custom games.

With fan requests going so well thus far, perhaps the latest feature Call of Duty: Warzone players are pushing for will become a reality. Reddit user samuryon can be thanked for getting the conversation started, as the fan suggested a feature that would see the game telling players what attachments are on a certain weapon. In-game, this would instantly let players know whether an enemy loadout or blueprint weapon is worth using in a match, as most players have a good idea of which attachments are best.

However, this feature would also help outside of the game. Specifically, it could be of great use when players are making their own Call of Duty: Warzone loadout. Normally, if players pick up a great weapon from someone they kill or from a crate, they are unable to tell what attachments were used to help make it so effective. This is frustrating, as they will be unable to remake the weapon once their match is complete. This mechanic would change that, letting them take note of the attachments that were used on the ground loot.

As mentioned in the comments by Reddit user Rrrrrrrrrromance, this would be very similar to a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare feature. In the 2019 game, the field upgrade Weapon Drop allowed players to add extra attachments to their weapon. It also showed them the names of the attachments they were using and putting on, making it clear how their gun is set up. The Redditor then makes the suggestion that this code should just be reused by the developers, and while it may not be that simple, it could be a good place to start.

With so many positive comments and a growing number of upvotes on the post, many clearly want to see this feature added at some point in the future. As such, hopefully Raven Software keeps this request in mind when working on the game’s updates, as it could make class creation a whole lot easier.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
