The current Call of Duty: Warzone meta includes many viable guns, with strong new weapons being discovered constantly. According to NICKMERCS, Call of Duty: Warzone fans are sleeping on one particular weapon, once again citing the PKM LMG as his personal favorite.
This is not the only gun that NICKMERCS has called underrated. In the past, he has bestowed the same title upon guns like the Bullfrog SMG and AS Val, with the latter being considered his go-to secondary weapon. However, his praise for the PKM has been seen in just about every loadout video from the past month. According to NICKMERCS, it would be his primary weapon choice if he were to run a “$100,000 tournament tomorrow.” As such, fans may want to consider the bulky PKM LMG.
NICKMERCS claims that it “beams” down enemies, and for good reason. There is little to no recoil on the gun, and with such large magazines, some missed shots would hardly be a big deal. The gun can fire for long periods of time and take enemies out from a distance, and its damage is top notch. The only downside of the gun is its brutally slow fire rate, but NICKMERCS believes it is not a big enough drawback to avoid using the gun. The pro player’s loadout for the PKM is as follows.
First, the FaZe co-owner equips the “laser” that is the PKM with a Monolithic Suppressor. Given his use of this attachment on just about every gun, this is hardly a surprise. Completely taking players off the radar and adding a significant range boost to the gun, it is a must-use attachment. He adds more range via the 26.9” Extended Barrel, ensuring that the LMG serves its main purpose as a primary weapon. A Snatch Grip is also used for improved accuracy.
The VLK 3.0x Optic is used for the weapon, and with 3.0x optics being a favorite for NICKMERCS, this once again makes sense. However, with the gamer citing the “hundred-round mags” of the PKM as one of its biggest strengths in his video, an attachment slot is freed up that can be used elsewhere. He makes the wise choice of speeding up the hefty gun, adding a FORGE Tac Stalker stock to help with aiming and movement. As for his secondary weapon choice, NICKMERCS highly recommends the AS Val Assault Rifle, promising fans they will do well if they can manage the plentiful reloads.
