A new bug has made an appearance that may evolve into an exploit for Call of Duty: Warzone fans. While many exploits have been patched by the developers, this new instance is a first for many fans. Call of Duty: Warzone players are encountering this strange bug randomly as they interact with the game's loadout drops.

Loadout boxes are a common item that, for many, is the key to victory in Call of Duty: Warzone. While several bugs have affected the boxes in the past, this is the first time that a box gave more than it took from players. A Call of Duty: Warzone fan was shocked when a loadout crate did the unexpected in response to their loadout selection.

This bug is being seen as a bizarre benefit to many fans that actively use Call of Duty: Warzone loadout crates. In a clip posted by leespeed91, the player opens up a loadout crate and selects his loadout only for the crate to spit out four copies on the ground. This spontaneous creation of items shocked the player as they dropped next to the deflated crate.  Many fans immediately believe that this could be an extremely helpful bug, but there is a cost to the additional weapons. Teammates who were not able to select their loadouts before the glitch are now unable to gather anything but the player's duplicate gear.

In the comments, the Call of Duty: Warzone fans report that the box immediately disappears when this glitch manifests. While this could be helpful in a solo scenario, in group play, many believe this will be a rather frustrating glitch to have to deal with.

Most Call of Duty: Warzone loadout bugs simply kill players upon contact. Multiple instances of boxes getting stuck, falling through the ground, or never appearing have been documented, but this is the first time a box has spit out duplicate items. Call of Duty: Warzone fans wonder what could cause this bug's appearance, while others argue that this may be the beginning of a new and deadly exploit.

Call of Duty: Warzone's developers have not released a statement as of yet regarding this bug. According to the official Trello board, they are unaware of the problem, but that may not last for long. The developers tend to be fast when repairing bugs that can directly affect loot distribution and the game's overall fairness.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
