Call of Duty: Warzone bugs are continuing to be discovered, with the list of issues with the game growing significantly larger in recent weeks. Like several others, the latest Call of Duty: Warzone bug impacts the Gulag, and it’s certainly problematic.

Over the last few weeks, players have been quick to report numerous issues with the Gulag. Gamers have been sent to the 1v1 arena without dying and been killed after finding themselves victorious, two frustrating issues that fans have no logical explanation for. Even more frustrating is a bug where Gulag guns go invisible, essentially giving players no chance to win their second chance fight. However, it seems like invisible guns were just a teaser for the latest Gulag-related issue, as the entire arena has undergone a transformation in one unlucky player’s game.

Call of Duty: Warzone player and Reddit user RoyalMannequin showcased the latest bug via a screenshot, and it may be the most severe texture bug thus far. In the image, the entirety of the Gulag is invisible. The dead players from the previous round can be seen on the ground, while RoyalMannequin can easily see their opponent standing in front of them. While it is unclear if the various props and pieces of cover are still there but impossible to be seen, this bug ruins the tactical feel of the Gulag either way.

Unfortunately, this is yet another case of a texture bug hurting the Call of Duty: Warzone experience. Recently, the demon texture glitch has been in full force, transforming entire buildings and players instead of just weaponry. An N64 glitch also appeared in recent weeks, making Caldera look like a map from a game that released decades ago. Now, gamers are running into invisible Gulags, ensuring that there are countless texture bugs in the battle royale game that have the potential to completely ruin a match.

Fortunately, there does seem to be a workaround for those struggling with these Call of Duty: Warzone problems. According to justbilled in the comments section, PC players have fixed the bug by turning off live texture streaming, but console users need a different approach. Apparently, the add-on called “reserved space” for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which is used to reach Call of Duty: Warzone, is the source of the issue. As such, console players should try deleting this from their add-ons list, as some gamers have reported that this has limited the number of texture problems that they run into.

For those that still run into invisible Gulags or other texture problems, waiting for Raven Software to make the necessary fixes is the only option. With Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2 delayed so that bugs can be fixed, hopefully texture issues like this are prioritized.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
