Call of Duty: Warzone continues to be one of the hottest online multiplayer games. As 2021 gets started, the battle royale is coming up on its one year anniversary. And although there is a lot to look forward to and expect from Call of Duty: Warzone this year, it looks like legitimate glitch fixes and a clean experience may not be one of them, based on current player experiences.

Call of Duty: Warzone is a beloved game by much of the community, but unfortunately it is marred with glitches, cheaters, and exploiters. The most recent issue has been a return of the stim glitch in Call of Duty: Warzone. The issue was supposed to have been fixed recently, but that doesn't seem to have been the case.

The unlimited stim glitch in Call of Duty: Warzone allows players to hide inside of the "gas" and heal themselves with the stim (which is usually only designed to be used once every 30 seconds). The glitch, once performed with a certain set of specific tricks, allows the stim to be used infinitely. This means the abuser can hide wherever they want in the gas, meaning it may be impossible for the person who is playing Call of Duty: Warzone fairly to ever find them, thus leading them to eventually die from the gas themselves.

The problem is, the infinite stim glitch was supposed to have been fixed alongside other updates and changes with a recent Call of Duty: Warzone patch on January 13, 2021. The update finally nerfed the DMR, made some other general tweaks, and was supposed to have made the infinite stim glitch impossible. But alas, the Call of Duty community has been reporting that the unlimited stim glitch is, unfortunately, still alive and well.

According to a Tweet from @ModernWarzone on Twitter, there have been multiple reports of players losing to stim glitch exploiters. Many of the commenters are suggesting that the developers simply remove the stim item from Call of Duty: Warzone entirely (it could remain in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War multiplayer) until the issue is resolved.

Another frustrating aspect of the glitch is that this is not the first time it has existed. The stim glitch and exploit has made Call of Duty: Warzone fans suffer for some time now, as it seems to come and go. While there is a certain level of understanding and grace when it comes to game development, especially one that is played online across multiple platforms, the frustration is mounting from the fanbase with ongoing glitches, cheaters, and exploiters in Call of Duty: Warzone.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
