Call of Duty: Warzone has been celebrating Halloween with a new event titled Haunting of Verdansk. Fan reception has been exceptionally high, as many players Trick or Treated across the map. With Call of Duty: Warzone rewards aplenty, this event gifted fans a chance to truly express their Halloween spirit.

In the reimagining of the Call of Duty: Warzone night map, there were several Easter Eggs hidden across the game. These references revolve around the two killers who had appeared in the in-game shop. While some references were fairly obvious, others required a little insight to fully understand.

One Call of Duty: Warzone Reddit fan decided to create a short 5-minute montage of all the Easter Eggs scattered across the wide map of Verdansk. In this video, he takes players to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre house, into the Saw themed subways, and even explores some of the more subtle frights hidden across the game.

He starts by showcasing Billy's hideout in the subway and then quickly switches to the ghost trains that were frightening players throughout the event. Across the entire map, Billy's face appears as a reference to the Saw movies, where he torments his victims through various videotapes. He even shows off the Warzone Ghosts, Jack O' Lanterns, and mysterious blood puddles that filled the map giving the entire environment a creepy vibe.

One of the more subtle changes that he points out is the highly concentrated Call of Duty: Warzone ghost sightings that can be found at the various gravesites across the map. Aside from ghosts, bats are also flocking as they travel in groups from one locale to another. For another interestingly haunted hot spot, the Hospital has extra creepy vibes with flickering lights, phones going off, and more.

Eventually, he makes his way into the house of Leatherface from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Inside the house are creepy dining sets, and the basement is filled with chainsaw noises. If players are swift, they could catch a glimpse of Leatherface standing in one of the upstairs windows.

The compilation is made with the intention of documenting the hard work that went into this unique event. Players hope that the developers will continue with seasonal offerings with some fans looking forward to the prospects of a Christmas themed game mode. While many fans are happy the Warzone jump scares are gone, there are some who will miss the zombie mode and night time maps that came with them.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
