Call of Duty: Warzone continues to battle an ongoing hacker and cheater problem. This has been a major community concern since the game launched, and despite Activision's efforts, the problems does not seem to be going away. Despite this, Call of Duty: Warzone fans have found some levity within the hacking menace as the skill gap between players and cheaters is often clearly visible.
Many cheaters use aimbots and similar software to compensate or supplement their current skill level. While these programs are effective in Call of Duty: Warzone, some players tend to rely on them a tad too much. Call of Duty: Warzone cheaters may be a hazard to the community, but in some cases, they are a hazard to themselves.
In a clip posted by NYDevilsFan on Reddit, the player is spectating a Call of Duty: Warzone hacker who presumably killed them during the match. The first segment of the clip shows the hacker and his ally driving backward on an ATV, and once they spot players, they engage them in battle. It becomes immediately clear that an aimbot is active during this fight, and it is not long before the hacker gets back on the ATV to seek out a new target. As he heads down a hill while still driving backward, he eventually spots an enemy. Hopping off his ATV, the hacker immediately aims down his sights and targets the enemy. Before he can kill the target, the ATV rolls over the hacker, resulting in a rather sudden death.
Players in the comments voice their opinion that the hacker in the clip deserved his fate. While cheating is a common problem in Call of Duty: Warzone, it is reassuring for the community to see hackers dying due to their own actions.
Fans do note a common trend among hackers revolving around the practice of switching weapons rapidly while not fighting an enemy. It is a common belief that this Call of Duty: Warzone tactic is used to recenter the reticle. Depending on the hack in practice, this could be the key to how they lock onto targets faster when out in large fields.
Call of Duty: Warzone does ban hackers for using exploits and cheats within the game environment. In multiple ban waves, it is quickly becoming harder to get away with hacking within the game. Still, this has not stopped many players from using cheating software within Call of Duty: Warzone instead of improving their skills naturally.
