Call of Duty: Warzone is popular for a number of reasons, but one of its most popular features is the Gulag. For the uninitiated, the Gulag gives Call of Duty: Warzone players the chance to rejoin the battle royale match after they die, but only if they manage to win a 1v1 fight against another player. The Gulag has been praised for being a creative way for players to revive and rejoin the action, but there is one aspect about it that it seems many fans want changed.

On the Call of Duty: Warzone subreddit, there are numerous posts calling for the Gulag to remove grenades. It seems some fans think that grenades "cheapen" the Gulag, as it makes the mode less about gun skill and more about getting a lucky grenade throw. More specifically, fans seem to take issue with stun grenades in the Gulag, as the amount of time it leaves one stunned virtually guarantees a victory for the player that threw it.

It's unclear if Infinity Ward will actually remove stun grenades in Warzone's Gulag or not. While there have been a number of posts complaining about them, it's unclear if this is just a vocal minority of the Call of Duty: Warzone player base, or if it's genuinely a significant number of fans that want them gone.

And while it's frustrating for some players to lose a Gulag match because of a stun grenade, it's worth pointing out that the Gulag is not the only way Warzone players can be revived in the game. As long as players have teammates still alive, cash in Warzone can be used to revive them as well.

Of course, that doesn't apply when playing Warzone Solos, which could be why some people are more upset than others about the use of stun grenades in the Gulag. Perhaps Infinity Ward will remove stun grenades for Solos to make things a little more fair and skill-based, but leave them in the Gulag for the regular battle royale mode.

It's unclear if Infinity Ward will be making any kinds of changes to Gulag, but fans can count on regular Warzone updates regardless.

Call of Duty: Warzone is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
