It's not exactly a secret that Call of Duty: Warzone has a lot of glitches, though some are more egregious than others. Since the game's latest update, Call of Duty: Warzone players have been running into a particularly annoying glitch that's ruining games for them, as it seemingly makes players have "God Mode."

Clips of the supposed "God Mode" glitch have been appearing on the Call of Duty: Warzone subreddit. It's unclear what exactly causes the glitch at the time of this writing, but it appears to make players completely invincible. In fact, the Call of Duty: Warzone players who experience this glitch can't even be killed by executions. Normally, Call of Duty: Warzone executions are insta-kills, so this makes the glitch especially concerning.

Raven Software has not commented on this latest glitch just yet, but one has to imagine that the development team is aware of it and working on some kind of fix. Raven Software releases updates for Call of Duty: Warzone regularly to fix glitches and other issues like this, so hopefully fans don't have to wait too long. However, even when Raven Software does implement a fix for this glitch, it's possible it will still rear its ugly head one way or another, as the Call of Duty: Warzone Stim glitch has persisted in the game despite numerous updates designed to get rid of it.

It's possible that a fix for this latest Call of Duty: Warzone glitch will come with the Season 3 update, expected to go live on Thursday, April 22. Activision has teased that the Call of Duty: Warzone nuke event will happen on Wednesday, April 21, and will bring with it the destruction of the Verdansk battle royale map. It's possible that Season 3 will go live as soon as the nuke goes off, but the more likely scenario is that it will kick off on April 22 instead, though specific patch notes have not been revealed to date.

The latest update, meanwhile, did a lot to set Call of Duty: Warzone up for the next season. As of the latest update, Call of Duty: Warzone's map is covered in radiation, with the radiation moving across Verdansk. Players that die in the radiation wind up turning into zombies, and it's believed that the in-game government will decide to take out the zombies with a nuclear explosion. Fans will have to wait for April 21 to see exactly how it all goes down, however.

Call of Duty: Warzone is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
