Call of Duty: Warzone has been having issues with bugs and glitches in the game, and while Call of Duty developers are trying to crack down on them, more game-breaking details keep emerging. One player found an exploit that allows players to ping opponents after they enter their field of view.

The main Call of Duty: Warzone map covers a large expanse of ground, meaning that it may be hard for players to locate or track other players around Verdansk. Due to this difficulty, the Spotter Scope was introduced to the game. The tactical equipment works similarly the binoculars and allows players to ping their opponents from far away, but it glitched to ping enemies in a more significant way.

One YouTuber named Bubs uploaded a video explaining this exploit, referring to it as a "semi wallhack" in his explanation of the glitch. With the Spotter Scope and the help of a friend or a Self Revive kit that can be bought from a Buy Station, players can unlock this helpful ability for their games, allowing them to track enemy players even after they move into cover.

To activate the exploit, players need to follow a few simple steps. First, they'll need to pick up a Spotter Scope while while looting as well as a Molotov and Thermite grenade. Once they have secured these items and have a friend or Self Revive kit on hand, the player needs to throw whichever lethal grenade they picked up onto the ground and walk over it while actively using the Spotter Scope. The player needs to continue looking through scope until they are downed, then they have to crawl out of the fire. Once they are out, the player can get back up by using a Self Revive kit or the help of a friend. After a player follows these steps and is off the ground, they should be able to automatically ping any opponents that come into their field of vision, even if their character loses sight of them.

With such a powerful exploit in the game, Infinity Ward will likely be patching this a future update. However, many players will probably be trying to use this ability while it is still in the game.

Call of Duty: Warzone is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
