Another interesting glitch has appeared in Call of Duty: Warzone involving an accidental spawn of a new game event. Players have enjoyed the spontaneous events as a way to make each game unique and shake up the default a bit. Warzone fans are always excited when a Supply Chopper spawns in, unless the unexpected happens.

The glitch appears after the most recent Warzone patch. Along with weapon buffs, nerfs, and event changes, the patch seems to have had some unintended consequences. Several things broke after the latest Warzone patch, but this glitch was one of the most unexpected and random.

The video starts with what looks like a standard game of Warzone. The Reddit user has already found a suitable weapon and gathered a good chunk of cash. Everything is going great until an orange banner flashes across the screen reading "Supply Choppers Incoming." Immediately after the message appeared, a helicopter rose out of the ground killing the unsuspecting player. The Reddit user is promptly sent to the Gulag, and the helicopter continued on its pre-programmed mission.

The question on every fan's mind is why the developers would ever program the helicopter to spawn from the ground and rise up. Out of all the places to make the supply chopper spawn, under the map seems like a fairly strange decision.

Many fans argue that it would have made more sense for the supply chopper to spawn from the edge of the circle, or just appear in the air. Spawning them from under the map is not only dangerous to the unsuspecting player but can also cause other problems if the supply chopper impacted anything else. If the chopper appeared below a vehicle or under a building it could have catastrophic consequences to anyone caught in the blast zone as it traveled up its floors.

When the supply choppers worked the way they were supposed to, players would find them flying in from the edge of the map. They would travel to a preset location and hover. Players could then fire at supply choppers with rifles or rockets to bring it down. Once grounded, it would drop tons of different weapons and loot for fans. It should be noted that the glitch has been "patched" quickly, but despite that players are still witnessing the strange spawn locations of the supply choppers.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
