Texture glitches are one of the most common problems in Call of Duty: Warzone. Sometimes the server doesn't send the proper information to the player's system, resulting in some strange alterations to Verdansk. While most problems affect Call of Duty: Warzone operators or weapons, they can occasionally have a bigger impact on buildings or the entire map.

While texture errors are mostly harmless, they can generate some interesting alternate scenarios for players. From players' weapons in Warzone appearing as buttons or dogs to fences that are transparent only on one side, players discover most of these by accident.

Despite the nature of their discovery, it is still exceedingly interesting to find them distorting the familiar surroundings of the game's world. In a video posted by NewbieSniper onto Reddit, the player walks into one of the many office buildings scattered across Call of Duty: Warzone's Verdansk. Instead of the normal cubical rows, dour colored walls, and mediocre lighting, they were greeted with an all-white hallway. The cubicles are gone, and in their place are floating numbers creating an eerie patch from one side of the room to the other.

The post's author did edit the video, giving the outer edges a blue hue and overlaying the famous "The Numbers Mason" audio from Call of Duty: Black Ops on top of the video. The entire small segment creates a dreamlike instance that looks nothing like the standard game. It is unclear how this glitch was triggered, but the new perspective is an enlightening look at what could have been.

The entire experience is almost dreamlike. This is, in part, from the author's post-editing, but the strange sterile white of the walls is offsetting in a strange way. Based on the gun selection on the right-hand side, this glitch has something to do with how Warzone players' models spawn, but that does not explain why this room is so whitewashed and the hallway on the other side is not.

Still, the author made great use of the clip by attaching the popular "The Numbers Mason" audio. The added humor elevates this clip making it more than a Call of Duty: Warzone textures glitch. It is unclear if there is a patch in the works for this problem, so fans should watch out for creepy empty rooms and floating numbers. Although cool, it is better to catch bugs like this early as to not damage the already buggy game.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
