A couple of months ago, Call of Duty: Warzone Halloween event details leaked online, claiming that characters like Ghostface from Scream and the creepy rabbit from Donnie Darko would be making their way to the battle royale game. Now there's even more evidence to back up those claims, as a glitch in Call of Duty: Warzone has given fans a complete look at the Ghostface skin that's coming to the game later this month.

Call of Duty: Warzone has an exciting month ahead of it, with Season 6 set to launch on Thursday, October 7 and The Haunting Halloween event starting on October 19 and lasting until November 2. And while Activision has not officially confirmed the Scream Ghostface skin for Call of Duty: Warzone's Haunting event, the full model has been leaked through the game itself, with a video making the rounds online showing off how the character looks in-game.

The Call of Duty: Warzone Ghostface skin looks very accurate to the movie version, which is to be expected. Ghostface is not the first movie-based skin to make its way to Call of Duty: Warzone, and all the other ones have been mostly faithful to their movie counterparts as well.

What will be interesting to see is if the Call of Duty: Warzone Verdansk map gets any Scream-related Easter eggs to go along with the Ghostface skin. The special movie skins in Call of Duty: Warzone have often come with map changes, like the Nakatomi Plaza from Die Hard, for instance. There are a few iconic locations from Scream that Call of Duty: Warzone could choose from, with perhaps the most obvious choice being Stu's house from the original film.

It wouldn't be the first time that Call of Duty: Warzone added iconic horror movie locations to its battle royale map. Last year's Halloween event saw the addition of a Leatherface skin to the battle royale, and that included a chance for players to visit Leatherface's house in-game. Again, Activision has not even revealed its plans for Ghostface yet, so all fans can do is speculate at this time based on how Warzone has handled special guest characters in the past.

The Halloween event isn't the only thing that Call of Duty: Warzone players have to look forward to in the near future. Call of Duty: Warzone is getting a new map to match Call of Vanguard's World War 2 setting, and more information on that should come to light sooner rather than later.

Call of Duty: Warzone is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
