Call of Duty: Warzone's fanbase has grown increasingly frustrated recently from what is perceived as a near-constant battle with game-breaking bugs and glitches on top of an unbalanced meta. The frustration has culminated in Call of Duty: Warzone's fans building a "#FixWarzone" movement.

Call of Duty: Warzone has been struggling with a multitude of bugs lately, with a new bug highlighting players as they return from the Gulag being one of the latest examples. This most recent bug adds to player frustration over the repeated presence of an infinite-stim glitch, the removal of attack helicopters just after they were added back in following a months-long absence, and weapon balancing that leaves the FFAR and AUG severely unfair despite the game's recent weapons update.

The call to action was started by Reddit user SindraGan2001. In a rather passionate post to the Call of Duty: Warzone community, they called for the fanbase to come together to try and force the game's publisher, Activision, to address its sizeable list of complaints. The movement calls on players to change their in-game clan tag to "FIXWZ" to both show their frustration to the game's developers in a statistical metric as well as to spread the word to other players during matches.

The movement seems to have struck a chord with the community and is slowly starting to build. With 16,600 upvotes and over 1,300 comments at the time of writing, players may be able to expect seeing "FIXWZ" a lot more in their matches. The movement also arrives on top of many of Call of Duty: Warzone's biggest personalities raising complaints about the game with more frequency, including Dr Disrespect raging and uninstalling the game last week. The game has also seen its subreddit start being flooded with posts of bugs and glitches players are coming across in support of the movement and to spread awareness.

It is difficult to tell how Activision will respond to the movement, or if it will at all. Hopefully, the fans get the changes that they are asking for so that the community can keep growing and enjoying the game, especially since Activision has announced plans to keep Call of Duty: Warzone concurrent with the series' yearly releases. There is a good chance that Activision will listen to the movement, at least in part, especially so that the bugs don't overshadow Call of Duty: Warzone's new events and features.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
