Call of Duty: Warzone has plenty of Field Upgrades to choose from, and while Trophy Systems may not be at the top of the list, fans may have a new reason to try them out. A new Call of Duty: Warzone bug is giving players an endless supply of Trophy Systems if they use a specific perk.

For those unfamiliar with Trophy Systems, the special equipment essentially serves as a grenade catcher. Thrown projectiles, be it frag grenades or stun grenades, are instantly destroyed by the devices. While this is less useful in than it is in regular Call of Duty multiplayer since players are constantly moving with the circle, having more Trophies to throw could make them a better option. As shown by Twitch streamer its_iron, it seems like a new bug is making this possible.

The glitch is tied specifically to the Call of Duty: Warzone perk restock, as the ability allows players to refill their equipment slots over time. This means that every minute or so a player’s lethal equipment will return to them, giving them grenades and C4 for every fight. While there is a cooldown timer to keep the perk balanced, it can be incredibly useful. In the case of its_iron, Claymore were supposed to be used, with the player trying to place one on a rooftop. However, they did not place a Claymore at all.

Instead of the classic trip mine showing up, the player tossed a Trophy System in front of them. For whatever reason, the game replaced a Trophy System with his Claymores. As such, whenever its_iron is able to setup another Claymore, they will instead toss a Trophy System down. With Restock constantly refilling the player’s equipment pool, they will keep getting Trophy Systems until the match comes to an end. While it is unclear if Call of Duty: Warzone players will be able to replicate this glitch, it could prove useful if they do.

At the same time, some players may not want this bug to happen to them. Not only is the Trophy System Field Upgrade a lot less useful than Dead Silence, but some players value their lethal equipment. As such, while infinite Trophies can help, gamers looking to use their frag grenades, throwing knives, or C4 may want to avoid equipping the Restock perk. A Munitions Box can also be seen as the player’s active Field Upgrade, so gamers may want to avoid using these for the time being as well.

While this Call of Duty: Warzone streamer certainly had an interesting experience, it is hard to tell from the clip if they are happy or disappointed with their Trophy System supply. Regardless, gamers now have an explanation if they see a lot more Trophy Systems scattered throughout Verdansk.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
